There was a house, a kitchen garden and a yard under old trees. One day the family who lived there opened the gate, set out a few tables and started cooking for the neighbourhood the way they cooked for guests at home.
Twelve years on, the kitchen is still run by women, nothing is cooked until you order it, and the board over the gate still says the same thing: we serve happiness. Tollygunge comes for the ₹299 combos, stays for the adda, and comes back for the cake with kheer.
From the owner to the cook, an all-women team making light, home-style food, cooked fresh after you order.
